Earlier this calendar year, 24-year-old Dutch winger Daan Rots, an attacker for FC Twente, indicated an interest in a transfer to Spain, naming Valencia as a possible destination. Speaking on the podcast De Ballen Verstand, club watcher Leon ten Voorde shared that he heard at a party that Rots is aiming for a move to Spain. However, ten Voorde's own expectation is that the player will remain at FC Twente this summer. Rots has a one-year contract with an option for an extra season.
