Tarek Sebiat, a representative for the StayPro agency, met with Valencia's sporting director, Braulio Vázquez, which has focused attention on Edson Álvarez. The 28-year-old Mexican international is open to a move in the January transfer window because his season at West Ham is not meeting his aspirations, having only played in one EFL Cup match. A deal with Valencia is considered feasible, potentially as a loan, and Álvarez has a contract with West Ham until 2028.
