It is claimed that 26-year-old Portuguese centre-forward Cláudio Braga is increasingly close to leaving Hearts, with Turkish club Trabzonspor and Premier League newcomers Ipswich both reportedly interested in him. The Scottish Premiership Player of the Year, who has also been linked with French club Lyon, has two years remaining on his contract in Edinburgh. Jamestown Analytics has valued Braga between £8 million and £10 million, a price at which Hearts would consider a sale. Portuguese outlet Record reports that a deal could be finalised in the near future. Hearts' new manager, Wouter Vrancken, has acknowledged that the club must be prepared to replace Braga, stating that selling developed players is part of their model. Braga joined the Scottish club in July 2025 and has a current market value of €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
