West Bromwich Albion confirmed the arrival of 27-year-old Welsh international defender Chris Mepham from Bournemouth. The transfer is valued at up to 1.5 million euros, including bonuses. An additional 500,000 euros will be received by Bournemouth if West Brom is promoted to the Premier League. Mepham's contract with Bournemouth was set to expire in June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €6 million. Rangers had also been recently linked with the player.
