Bailey Rice is expected to reject interest from England and abroad to commit to Rangers. According to Record Sport, the out-of-contract Ibrox youngster has agreed to new terms and will sign the new deal later this week. Rice will not be leaving, and new boss McInnes will hope to develop the defensive midfielder’s full potential.

Leeds United are interested in signing 19-year-old Scottish defensive midfielder Bailey Rice, whose contract at Ibrox will expire at the end of the month. Rangers are now prepared to stop contract extension talks and allow him to leave on a free transfer because of a lack of progress. It is also reported that a number of other Premier League clubs are interested, and any club that signs Rice will be required to pay Rangers a compensation fee.
