Everton are reportedly close to agreeing terms for 22-year-old Belgian midfielder Arne Engels from the Scottish Premiership champions. His departure could be part of a combined £45m move to the Premier League that also includes his teammate Alistair Johnston. The Belgian international scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists in 55 appearances in the Scottish Premiership during the 2025/2026 season.
