Brentford are one of several Premier League clubs, including Sunderland, Bournemouth, and Brighton, to have scouted Almería's Serbian and French midfielder Stefan Dzodic. It is understood that the clubs have monitored the 21-year-old's progress since he joined the Segunda Division side on a free transfer from Montpellier in 2025. While the interest from the English sides is not advanced, Atletico Madrid are preparing for a potential transfer, and sources confirm the Spanish club has opened discussions with the player's representatives. Dzodic has a contract until 2032 containing a €40 million release clause, and Almeria are not under pressure to sell in January. According to Transfermarkt, the Serbian international has a current market value of €12.00M.
