According to a report from BILD, Borussia Dortmund views Anis Hadj Moussa as the designated successor to Karim Adeyemi. The report also states that Feyenoord's asking price for the player is a minimum of thirty million euros.

According to transfer journalist Patrick Berger, 24-year-old Algerian winger Anis Hadj Moussa is on Borussia Dortmund's shortlist. Berger stated that a deal will probably not be attainable and that other targets are higher on the German club's list. Feyenoord reportedly rejected a €28 million bid from Benfica in summer 2025, and its demand was reported to be over €40 million in May 2026.
