Ex-Mirror journalist Darren Witcoop claimed on X that Millwall is one of seven Championship clubs with interest in signing Brighton’s 21-year-old English winger, Amario Cozier-Duberry, before the 1 September deadline. The claim also named West Ham, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Cardiff, Swansea, and Wolves as being interested in the winger. Witcoop also stated that Brighton has offered Cozier-Duberry a new deal and intends to loan him out for the 2026-27 season. The player joined Brighton in July 2024 and has been capped three times by England at the U20 level. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €5.00m. It was reported that in August 2026, Brighton's asking price was £10 million and that Rangers had bids of up to £7.5 million rejected.
