Aston Villa's attacking midfielder Johan Manzambi has attracted attention from major European clubs following his start in the Premier League. Sources confirm that Barcelona are monitoring his progress. The Catalan club has noted the performances of the 21-year-old, who joined Villa from Freiburg in the summer after the club agreed to a fee of just under £60 million. Bayern Munich are also reportedly watching the Swiss international, who has 20 caps and 7 goals for his country, having previously considered a move for him. During the summer, Newcastle United had also reached an agreement with Freiburg for the player before he chose to join Villa. Manzambi's contract at Aston Villa runs until June 2031, and his current market value is estimated at €65.00m by Transfermarkt. Despite the growing interest, he is understood to be happy at his current club and is not seeking an imminent move.
