Austrian winger Yusuf Demir could return to his old club in Vienna, with the Green-Whites having already made an offer for the Galatasaray player. However, a report from 'Sky' contradicts this, claiming that while Demir is a subject of discussion in Hütteldorf, no offer has yet been submitted. It was recently reported that the 22-year-old's contract with Galatasaray may be terminated, which would allow him to move to Vienna on a free transfer. Besides Rapid, clubs from Italy and Portugal are also said to be interested in Demir. His contract with Galatasaray is set to expire in June 2026, and he has made one appearance in the Süper Lig this season. Demir has four caps for Austria. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt; Galatasaray reportedly paid €6.0 million to sign him from Rapid Vienna in September 2022, while Barcelona had previously paid a €500,000 loan fee for him in July 2021.
