Youssef Chermiti Transfer from Rangers to Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe are targeting Youssef Chermiti and are set to send another bid to Ibrox after an offer from the Istanbul club was rejected by Danny Röhl’s side. Turkish journalist Erdem Akbaş reports that Fenerbahçe and Rangers remain in talks despite the first offer being rejected. A second offer is now forthcoming, although it may depend on the situations with Jhon Duran and Youssef En-Nesyri.

Rangers rejected a €15 million (£13 million) bid from Fenerbahce for Youssef Chermiti, a 21-year-old Portuguese and Tunisian forward. The proposed fee for the striker, who has been the subject of interest during the transfer window, would have been the second-highest sale in the Scottish club's history. Chermiti joined Rangers from Everton in the summer in a deal worth around £10 million, and his contract with the club runs until June 2029. The centre-forward has 5 caps and 2 goals for Portugal's U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €6.00m.
