Francesco Farioli, who had a dramatic season with Ajax in 2024/2025 and then signed with Porto, is interested in transferring his former player Wout Weghorst. Weghorst is on the top of Porto's new head coach's list. The 32-year-old forward played 31 matches and scored 14 goals last season under Farioli's management. Weghorst has a one-year contract remaining with Ajax. The seriousness of the interest is yet to be determined. Transfermarkt currently estimates Wout Weghorst's market value at 4.00 million euros.
