Will Ferry leaving Dundee United?
Dundee United has turned down a substantial six-figure offer from a Major League Soccer (MLS) team for Will Ferry. The offer did not meet Dundee United's valuation, and it remains uncertain whether the MLS club, which is from the Western Conference, will make another offer before the MLS transfer window closes on Thursday night. Dundee United does not find itself in a position where they need to sell Ferry, who is regarded as one of their most valuable players. The club would only entertain a significant offer, akin to past transfers such as James Penrice, who was sold for £2 million, and Lewis Miller, whose deal could potentially be worth £1.5 million. Ferry, who is under contract for this season and the next, has been an outstanding full-back in Scotland and has also attracted the attention of the Ireland national team for a potential full call-up.
