According to TEAMtalk, Southampton shortlisted 19-year-old Chelsea winger Tyrique George at the beginning of January for a potential move. The Athletic reports that George is expected to depart Stamford Bridge permanently this January and that Southampton appears to be a potential destination. Southampton will have to compete with Premier League clubs for George and may have to break the Championship record deal to sign him.
