Timothy Weah Transfer from Juventus to Leeds United
Leeds United are reportedly interested in Juventus winger Timothy Weah, following his rejection of a transfer to Nottingham Forest. Journalist Ed Aarons from The Guardian confirmed the interest. Weah was excluded from Juventus' squad for their FIFA Club World Cup match against Manchester City, as the club planned to transfer him along with Samuel Mbangula to Nottingham Forest for a combined fee of €25 million (£21m/$29m), an offer Weah declined. Nevertheless, Leeds United, along with Everton and Bournemouth, are eager to sign the 25-year-old United States international, who has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 78 appearances for Juventus. Weah's agent, Badou Sambague, reportedly expressed disappointment with Juventus' management of the situation, describing it as disgraceful.
