Norwegian midfielder Sverre Nypan has returned to Manchester City after being recalled from his loan at Middlesbrough. The two clubs reached an agreement to end the 19-year-old's stay with the Championship side, where he made 21 first-team appearances, including three starts. During his time at the Riverside Stadium, Nypan also made his senior debut for the Norwegian national team.
