Ruan Tressoldi has joined Atletico Mineiro on a loan deal from Sassuolo, which includes an option for the club to purchase him at the end of the year. The transfer was made official following Atletico Mineiro's announcement. Ruan is expected to bolster Atletico's squad for their campaigns in the Brasileirão and Copa Sudamericana competitions. The Brazilian defender, who had a previous loan spell at São Paulo, is embarking on a new chapter in his career back in Brazil. Having started his career in the youth teams of Novo Hamburgo and Grêmio, Ruan made his professional debut in a match against Atlético Mineiro in the Brasileirão in December 2017. The loan deal with Sassuolo is set for 12 months, during which Ruan will be among the 16 new additions to Atlético's squad for the 2025 season, joining other players such as Gabriel Menino and Patrick.
