Napoli considered Renato Veiga as a potential signing, with the 23-year-old Portuguese player being one of the names suggested by Allegri. The club made a request for information, but the interest ended upon learning Villarreal's asking price was 40 million euros. Real Madrid and Galatasaray have also been linked with the defender, who joined Villarreal in August 2025 and is under contract until 2032.
