Juventus recently scouted 19-year-old Spanish left-back Jorge Salinas during an appearance with the Spain U20 national team, where Inter and a long list of other clubs were also observing the player. Despite this interest, Atletico Madrid is considered to be in a leading position to sign the class of 2007 prospect. It has been reported that Atletico has already made initial inquiries about the feasibility of a summer transfer. The club also maintains a very close relationship with the player's agency, Gestifute. Salinas currently has a release clause of €16 million, but this figure is expected to increase significantly with a contract renewal that appears to be imminent. The defender, who has one cap for the Spain U20 team, joined Racing Santander in July 2025 and has a current market value of €10.00m according to Transfermarkt.
