Mario Gila, a 26-year-old Spanish Milan defender, confirmed that alongside Napoli, both Atalanta and Inter were also among the clubs interested in signing him. The former Lazio player explained that he chose Milan because it is impossible to say no when a team with such an important history calls. He added that his decision was also driven by a desire to help the Rossoneri return to the top. Gila joined Milan in July 2026 on a contract that runs until 2031. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €30.00m. He has yet to be capped by the Spanish national team.
