Juventus is among several European clubs monitoring Benfica's 18-year-old Portuguese and Guinea-Bissau right-back, Daniel Banjaqui. Other interested clubs include Tottenham, Brighton, Roma, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Atletico Madrid, and Real Sociedad. No formal negotiations have begun between Benfica and any of the clubs. It has been reported that intermediaries have made initial contact and gathered information. Banjaqui's contract runs until 2031, and his deal is said to contain a €45 million release clause. The Portuguese club would reportedly consider a sale if an offer of at least €35 million is made. The Portugal U21 international has 5 caps and 2 goals for his country. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m.
