Ramiz Zerrouki Transfer from Feyenoord to Sevilla
Ramiz Zerrouki is likely to leave Feyenoord this transfer period. He has concrete interest from Sevilla, a top club in Spain. Zerrouki did not fit well at Feyenoord and was behind other midfielders in the pecking order. Feyenoord is now willing to cooperate with the transfer.
According to La Gazette du Fennec, Sevilla is showing interest in signing Ramiz Zerrouki from Feyenoord. Zerrouki, facing limited playing time at Feyenoord, is keen on transferring to a new club this summer to ensure his spot in the national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The 27-year-old Algerian midfielder joined Feyenoord from FC Twente in the summer of 2023 for 7.5 million euros but has struggled to become a regular starter. Other clubs, such as Olympique Lyon, RC Strasbourg, RC Lens, and Villarreal, have also expressed definite interest in Zerrouki. Feyenoord is aiming to sell him to create space for new midfielders like Sem Steijn and potentially Luciano Valente, rendering Zerrouki surplus to their needs. The club is hopeful of completing a transfer this summer, providing Zerrouki with an opportunity to revive his career and retain his position in the Algerian national team.
