Sevilla is close to finalizing the transfer of Lucas Stassin, a 21-year-old Belgian centre-forward, from Saint-Etienne, where he is not considered a guaranteed starter despite a strong season. Stassin, who has one cap for Belgium, joined the French club in August 2024. He has a contract in France until 2028, which also included an option for an extra season, and a market value of 15 million euros. The Spanish club is still looking for around three reinforcements at the end of the summer transfer window and hopes to present the forward soon. Several other clubs, including Strasbourg, Hull City, and Bologna, have also been linked with the player.
