Spezia's 27-year-old Polish defender Przemysław Wiśniewski has been linked with a move to Celtic during this transfer window, but the club has not yet acted on its interest in the Serie B player. It is understood that Wiśniewski, who has five caps for Poland, is now considering other transfer options as he hopes to secure a regular spot in the national team. He joined Spezia in January 2023 and is contracted until June 2027. In addition to Celtic, he has also been linked with clubs such as Widzew Lodz and Getafe. Spezia's asking price was reportedly €4 million in January 2026, and one report indicated an offer from Widzew Łódź of €2.2 million plus a future resale percentage. Wiśniewski's last transfer was from Venezia to Spezia in January 2023 for a fee of €3 million, and his current market value is €1.50m according to Transfermarkt.
