According to reports, Verona wants to bring Phil Neumann to Serie A. It is stated that any clubs monitoring Neumann have been told a deal is not possible this month, and it may be revisited in the summer if the German is looking for a move.

Hellas Verona and VfL Wolfsburg are reportedly interested in signing Birmingham City's 28-year-old German centre-back Phil Neumann before the upcoming deadline. The interest in the defender comes months after he joined the club on 01/07/2025. Verona is seeking to sign a centre-back in the remainder of the window and is aware of the competition, which also includes previous reported interest from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo. Neumann's contract with Birmingham City runs until 30/06/2028 and, according to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €3.00m. He has previously received 10 caps for Germany U20.
