Oliver Antman Transfer from Go Ahead Eagles to Southampton
Southampton is interested in Oliver Antman, who has an outstanding assist record in the Eredivisie. Go Ahead Eagles' director, Jan Willem van Dop, stated that Antman will only leave for more than six million euros. No serious bids have been made yet.
Oliver Antman, renowned as the assist king of the Eredivisie with twelve assists and five goals this season, has drawn the attention of Southampton. The club has made the decision to scout him as a potential target for a summer transfer. With a current salary of only 4,500 euros per week, financial constraints are not anticipated to be an issue for English clubs. Southampton is contemplating making a bid, yet there remains uncertainty about whether he is ready for such a move. In addition to Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford are also keeping an eye on the Finnish international, which could lead to a competitive transfer situation. Despite this interest, Go Ahead Eagles' coach Paul Simonis acknowledged the difficulty in retaining Antman after this season, noting that he originally joined from FC Nordsjaelland for 1.2 million euros and could potentially command a record transfer fee.
