Oliver Antman Transfer from Go Ahead Eagles to Rangers
Rangers were associated with a bid for Go Ahead Eagles star Oliver Antman, who is poised to become the Deventer club's record sale after a stunning season in the Eredivisie last term.
Oliver Antman is set to sign for Rangers after the club agreed a fee with Go Ahead Eagles. An agreement has been reached with the Eredivise outfit, and sources in the Netherlands suggest that the 23-year-old could become Russell Martin's latest signing within the next 24 to 48 hours. Talks have taken place over a switch to Ibrox, and a fee of around £5 million has been reported.
Rangers are reportedly showing strong interest in Finnish international Oliver Antman, aged 23, following his debut season in the Eredivisie with Go Ahead Eagles. Antman joined the team from Nordsjaelland last summer. The club is seeking a £5 million sum for their key player and has been advised by intermediaries to anticipate an offer from Ibrox. The Light Blues are ramping up their efforts to find a new winger, especially after their pursuit of Crystal Palace's Jesurun Rak-Sakyi was complicated by his recent injury. Despite this challenge, Rangers remain eager to acquire Antman as an alternative. Antman's contract with Go Ahead Eagles extends until June 2027, and Transfermarkt has valued him at €6.00m. Additionally, other clubs such as Southampton, Sheffield United, and Club Brugge have also been linked with the winger.
