Nicolás González Transfer from Juventus to Leeds United
Leeds United have expressed an interest in acquiring Nicolás González. Previously, González was on loan at Juventus in 2024 with a purchase obligation, and the club has now secured him permanently for £43 million. Nevertheless, Juventus is willing to allow him to depart this summer to facilitate a move for Jadon Sancho. González is eager to secure regular playing time ahead of the World Cup next year and is seeking a sale. A transfer to Elland Road could be advantageous for him, and Leeds are enthusiastic about the player. Known for his versatility, González is adept on either flank, providing pace and creativity to the team. Sport Mediaset journalist Gianni Balzarini reported that González has requested a transfer specifically because he aims to participate in the World Cup and is unlikely to be content with a bench role at Juventus, particularly if Sancho joins. The Turin club intends to recover a substantial portion of their investment in the upcoming weeks. Leeds, aiming to enhance their Premier League performance, view González as a valuable addition who can assist them in achieving a respectable position next season.
