Nasser Djiga Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Gent
AA Gent had shown interest in Nasser Djiga, a central defender from Wolverhampton, but Rangers FC managed to secure his loan ahead of them. Nasser Djiga, aged 22 and a Burkina Faso international, had been previously acquired by Wolverhampton from Rode Ster Belgrado for a sum of 12 million euros following an impressive stint at FC Basel. Despite interest from both Anderlecht and AA Gent, Rangers FC acted quickly to secure Djiga on loan. He even played a significant role against Club Brugge, although Rangers did not emerge victorious in that match. The loan to Rangers is viewed as an opportunity for Djiga to gain more experience, a process that is said to be progressing well.
