Fiorentina are interested in Charleroi defender Cheick Keita, but they are not the only club pursuing him. According to Ekrem Konur, Spanish clubs Real Betis and Villarreal are also interested in the 23-year-old Malian and French defender. It has been rumored this week that Villarreal intends to submit a multi-million euro bid for the defender in January. Konur also stated that the Spanish club has already made initial contact with Keita's representatives and is intensifying its interest with plans for a formal offer during the winter transfer window. Keita, who joined the Belgian club in July 2024, has a contract until June 2027. The defender has two caps for Mali and a current Transfermarkt market value of €3.50m.
