Birmingham City made a late attempt to sign Liam Millar from Hull City instead of signing Fuseini.

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini's, 24, anticipated move to Birmingham City from Union Saint-Gilloise collapsed after the West Midlands club withdrew from the deal. It was expected that the winger would become Blues’ seventh signing of the summer transfer window, and he had already travelled to England to finalize the transfer before it was cancelled, leaving him available for transfer. Fuseini has 2 caps and 1 goal for Ghana. His current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
