Min-jae Kim  Transfer from FC Bayern München to Milan

AC Milan's interest in Bayern Munich central defender Min-jae Kim is confirmed. Kim could be a topic for the summer, but for now, he wants to stay in Munich despite irregular starting appearances.

AC Milan recently signaled interest in a winter transfer for Min-jae Kim, but the player has reportedly rejected all inquiries. According to 'Schwäbische Zeitung', Kim stated at a fan club meeting that the thought of a transfer has never occurred to him. Kim's contract is valid until 2028, and his release clause for the summer is set at 70 million euros.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan is interested in Bayern defender Minjae Kim and is considering a transfer in the winter. The report also states that Milan is seeking central defenders with international experience and familiarity with Italy. According to the same source, Kim fits this profile, having played for Napoli from 2022 to 2023. Gazzetta dello Sport adds that Kim's estimated salary of 17 million euros per season in Munich is considered too high for Milan, and a deal would require Bayern to cover part of his salary. According to BILD, coach Vincent Kompany does not want Kim to leave, and Kim wants to remain in Munich. BILD also reports that Bayern would only consider a sale for a very large offer of around 50 million euros, his previous fee, and would need a replacement if Kim were to leave this winter.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Min-jae Kim is considered an ideal solution by AC Milan, who want to strengthen their defense. Min-jae Kim does not rule out this option, but it will be complex to complete. An agreement between Bayern Munich and AC Milan is currently considered unlikely, as it would require a loan with an option or obligation to buy. AC Milan are exploring other options.

According to 'Gazzetta dello Sport', AC Milan is considering bringing Bayern Munich centre-back Min-jae Kim back to Serie A and is exploring a winter move. However, the move is complicated by Kim's salary. The South Korean national player earns a double-digit million amount annually in Munich, which is too high for the Italian club. Therefore, a transfer is unlikely to happen unless Kim accepts a salary reduction. The German club would also only approve the transfer if suitable replacements are acquired.

According to the Italian newspaper 'Gazzetta dello Sport', AC Milan has shown interest in Bayern's central defender Min-Jae Kim. The 28-year-old South Korean is considered a desired transfer by Milan's new coach Massimiliano Allegri. Kim is allowed to leave FC Bayern and could potentially be part of a transfer deal involving Rafael Leao moving to Munich, as reported by 'Kicker'.

It is uncertain if AC Milan could also be interested in acquiring Min-jae Kim. The defender, who is valued between 30 to 35 million euros, has been mentioned as a potential bargaining chip in Bayern's transfer dealings. While Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Paris St. Germain are reportedly monitoring Kim, it remains to be seen if AC Milan or Liverpool will express interest. Kim is considered a sale candidate, especially as Bayern seeks to offset high transfer demands for offensive targets. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 45 million euros.
