Milton Delgado Transfer from Boca Juniors to Benfica
According to the Argentine outlet 'El Intransigente', Chelsea and Sevilla are the first to have contacted Milton Delgado's entourage regarding a move to Europe. Benfica, Oporto, Colonia and Brighton are also monitoring the player. Boca Juniors president Juan Román Riquelme is negotiating to renew Milton Delgado's contract and increase the price to 20 million euros. The club from Buenos Aires had rejected an offer from Besiktas a year ago.
Benfica has expressed interest in signing Milton Delgado, a talented midfielder currently with Boca Juniors. His market value stands at approximately 2.5 million euros, and his contract runs until December 2028. Although there is increasing interest from several top clubs, such as Inter Miami, Manchester United, and Chelsea, no formal offers have been made so far. Boca Juniors is contemplating allowing Delgado to participate in the Club World Cup in the United States before any possible transfer to Europe. The club president, Juan Roman Riquelme, intends to insert a 20 million dollar release clause into his contract to deter potential suitors.
