Maxime Delanghe will become the new goalkeeper for Willem II, arriving on a one-season loan from Cercle Brugge to cover for an injury. Willem II reportedly signed the 25-year-old Belgian ahead of Sparta Rotterdam. Millwall was also interested in signing Delanghe, but the player chose a temporary transfer to Tilburg because he anticipates more playing time at Willem II. The goalkeeper, who has been capped three times for Belgium's U21 team, was open to a move this summer after losing his starting position at the club he joined in July 2023. His contract at Cercle Brugge runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.50m.
