Bolton Wanderers could be an option for Gent's English striker Max Dean this summer, and they would be competing with Millwall for the player. Millwall are interested in the former Leeds United and MK Dons player. It has been reported that Dean has reached a point where regular football is increasingly important to him, as he has often been used as an impact substitute in Belgium. Bolton could provide the 22-year-old with the opportunity for regular starts under manager Steven Schumacher. A return to the North West, where he has roots, might also be a factor that attracts him. A transfer for Dean is considered financially possible in comparison to many other available attacking players. Dean has four caps and four goals for England's U20 side and is under contract in Belgium until June 30, 2028. He moved from MK Dons in July 2024 for a fee reported to be £2 million and has a current market value of €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
