Marc Pubill Transfer from Almería to Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolverhampton Wanderers are accelerating talks to sign Almeria right-back Marc Pubill. Wolves have made an attractive proposal to both the player and his club, Almeria, who would welcome a sale for €15 million. This interest comes as Wolves aim to strengthen their defensive line. Wolves have reportedly gained an advantage over AC Milan, who were also advanced in negotiations for Pubill.
Wolverhampton from the Premier League and Milan from Serie A have shown interest in signing Marc Pubill, with ongoing conversations with both clubs. Journalist Ángel García reported that Wolverhampton's offer might surpass that of Milan's. Almería has set a valuation for the player at approximately 15 million euros, including both fixed and variable components. Last summer, a transfer deal with Atalanta was accepted for 16 million euros plus an additional 4 million in variables, but it ultimately did not go through. Pubill is expected to make a decision through his agency, taking into account the conditions proposed by each club. Almería also plays a role in the transfer process depending on the offers received. Wolverhampton and Milan are regarded as the leading contenders to secure the Spanish U21 international, although neither will compete in European competitions next season. Due to his participation with Spain in the U21 European Championship, Pubill finished his season later than usual and may join Almería's pre-season training later than his teammates if the transfer is not finalized soon. Additionally, Levante, his former club, retains a 20% sell-on clause from any profit made on his future sale.
