Mamadou Diakhon, a 20-year-old Senegalese international winger, is on the shortlist of several clubs in England. It is said that interest comes from some ambitious Championship teams as well as mid-table Premier League sides, and that Middlesbrough, Everton, Crystal Palace, and Ipswich are specifically hoping to sign the player. Club Brugge, where Diakhon is under contract until mid-2029, is reportedly open to a transfer, but there is no imminent agreement. A significant gap in valuation exists, as the Belgian club has an asking price of €20 to €25 million, while the interested Championship clubs are reportedly willing to pay only about half that amount.
