Oxford United had shown interest in Rangers' Scottish central midfielder Lyall Cameron, who is 23 years old. However, after the player did not gain the approval of manager Derek McInnes, he is now awaiting approval for a loan move to Dundee United. Cameron, who has been capped 12 times for Scotland's U21 team, joined Rangers in July 2025 with his contract running until May 2029. The training compensation for his move from Dundee was reportedly set between £400,000 and £650,000, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.20m.
