English second-division club Preston is reported to be interested in Lion Lauberbach, who is also being monitored by other clubs. Italian second-tier side Venezia submitted a €2 million bid for the German striker, which KV Mechelen reportedly rejected. Lauberbach joined Mechelen on a free transfer in July 2023 and is under contract until June 2027.
