Finnish attacking midfielder Leo Walta, who plays for Swedish side Sirius, has claimed to be a target for Swansea. The 22-year-old has said he had spoken with the Swans at a time when they were looking to hire Kim Hellberg, a known admirer of the player. A transfer has not yet occurred, and club sources have downplayed the possibility of a transfer this month. Walta has recently reaffirmed his desire to move abroad, saying that while his agents have spoken to many clubs, the decision rests with Sirius, and he hopes to advance his career soon. Walta, who joined Sirius in March 2024, is under contract until June 2028 and has earned 10 caps for Finland, scoring one goal. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.50m.
