Leo Castledine Transfer from Chelsea U21 to Birmingham City
It has been suggested that Birmingham City should attempt to sign Chelsea's Leo Castledine, who is currently on loan at Huddersfield Town. The attacking midfielder's performances in League One have reportedly generated interest from the Championship, with Watford and Bristol City having been linked with a move. Football League World revealed that a minimum of six second-tier clubs are monitoring Castledine. His current contract with Chelsea is due to expire at the end of the season, though the club has an option to extend it by 12 months. According to a report from The Sun, he could be available for a price as low as £1 million this winter. The Athletic also revealed that Chelsea has a break clause in his loan agreement that is set to expire a couple of weeks into the transfer window.
