Barcelona are monitoring the development of Leny Yoro’s situation. He is valued at 50 million euros and is paid 7,090,771 euros (4,609,001,150 CFA francs) per year in England. TeamTalk adds that the former Lille player is reportedly considering asking to leave during the January transfer window, and that interested parties hope to use this instability to negotiate an early transfer.

According to Team Talk, Chelsea, Barcelona, and AC Milan have admired Leny Yoro for a long time. A claim was made earlier this year that super-agent Jorge Mendes wants to arrange a swap deal involving Yoro and Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde.

According to journalist Paddy Keogh of Attacking Football, agent Jorge Mendes is proposing a summer swap deal that would see Leny Yoro move to Barcelona in exchange for Alejandro Balde. Keogh's report states the exchange could be beneficial for both teams, as Barcelona needs another centre-back and United seeks a replacement for Luke Shaw. Mendes was reportedly influential in United's 2024 acquisition of Yoro from Lille for £58.9 million, and the player is under contract until 2029.
