Cardiff City are understood to be preparing a move for Salford City's 21-year-old Dutch-English wide player, Kelly N'Mai, during the January transfer window. N'Mai was also a target for Middlesbrough and Preston North End, both of whom made enquiries for the player in the summer, but a transfer did not happen. He joined Salford City in July 2021 and his contract is due to expire in June 2026. In the 2025/2026 League Two season, N'Mai has made 16 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current valuation is €275k.
