Former Aston Villa youth player Junior Wilson, 18, has signed professional terms with Birmingham City, becoming one of seven new players to do so at the club. The English central defender will join Birmingham City's under-21 side for their second campaign in Premier League 2 after agreeing to a one-year contract that contains an option for an additional 12 months. During his two-year scholarship with Birmingham's rivals, Wilson played 34 games in the under-18 Premier League and will now play under the recently appointed under-21s head, Scott Sellars.
