Julius Eskesen Transfer from Haugesund to Dundee United
Julius Eskesen is set to leave Haugesund, having been sold to Dundee United shortly before his contract expired. The two clubs have agreed on terms which primarily revolve around a sell-on clause and other performance-related bonuses. Haugesund will receive a small transfer fee and a larger resale clause. Eskesen had attracted interest from teams beyond Norway, but Dundee United have successfully convinced him they are the right fit and have reached an agreement to sign him. Sporting director Jostein Grindhaug confirmed the transfer to Haugesunds Avis.
Dundee United are closing in on a move for Haugesund midfielder Julius Eskesen. Jim Goodwin is keen to land the 26-year-old, and he could be in Scotland within the next 24 hours. Sources in Norway claim that Haugesund are ready to offer a number of add-ons to finalize the move. Eskesen is out of contract at the end of the year. He has been at Haugesund for the last three years, having previously come through the ranks of Odense, where he won the Danish Cup, and also played for Sonderskyje in Denmark. Eskesen would provide Goodwin with more midfield options.
