John Souttar has emerged as a potential transfer target for the Turkish club Trabzonspor, according to reports. With only 12 months remaining on his contract with Rangers, also known as Gers, Souttar might leave next summer if a new agreement is not reached. Trabzonspor, aiming to enhance its defensive lineup, considers the 28-year-old Scotland international an ideal candidate. If the transfer materializes, Souttar would have the opportunity to reunite with his former Rangers teammates John Lundstram and Borna Barisic, who are currently part of Trabzonspor. However, it is suggested that Trabzonspor is eager to offload both players this summer. The pair made their way to Turkey a year ago after leaving Ibrox on a free transfer. Despite the possibility of their departure, Trabzonspor manager Fatih Tekke is reportedly eager to include Souttar in his squad to bolster their defense.
