Rangers have entered into discussions with Coventry City about a season-long loan for 23-year-old Surinamese-Dutch winger Jahnoah Markelo. The player is one of several options being considered by the club. Rangers had also shown interest in Markelo last year before he joined Coventry in January. Markelo, who is yet to be capped by Suriname at senior level, has a contract with Coventry until the summer of 2030 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €3.50m. In the 2025/2026 Championship season, he made 5 appearances without scoring or assisting.
