Blackburn Rovers are reportedly interested in signing Troyes left-back Ismaël Boura this January and are competing with fellow Championship clubs Preston North End and Hull City. The 25-year-old has received significant attention from the division for his performances in Ligue 2. It is understood that all three English clubs have indicated their interest in a deal. Blackburn are seeking reinforcements for their effort to avoid relegation, while Preston and Hull reportedly view Boura as a player who could assist their effort to achieve a top-six finish. The defender's contract with Troyes is valid until the summer of 2027. The fee that would be required to secure a transfer before the 2 February deadline is not known, nor is it known if the player is interested in a move to English football. The Comoros international has 12 caps for his country. He has provided one goal and two assists in 17 Ligue 2 appearances this season.
