Werder Bremen are in talks to sign Frosinone's 25-year-old Greek midfielder Ilias Koutsoupias, who was an important player in his club's promotion campaign. The player is considered an alternative to another target, Cameron Puertas, though it is not yet certain if the German club will fully commit to the transfer. Koutsoupias, who has been capped three times for Greece's U21 team, joined Frosinone in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m. Cagliari and Torino have also been linked with the player.
